uSING SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT, INFLUENCER, RADIO PROMOTION AND TV PROMOTION
THE BRIEF
Askamaya Records came to us to help push their artists single which they featured Zlatan Ibile - ALERT by Spider Rider ft Zlatan Ibile. We sat down with the record label and drafted out a plan.

Our plan included reaching as many people as we can (creating a viral content) while leveraging influencer marketing, Radio promotion, and TV promotions to also help build a name for the artists on social media.
TAGET MEDIA PROMOTION
When the record label reached out to us TAGET Media, they were promoting their artists' songs all by themselves with very low results in their promotion. So we decided to step in, what we did was to plan how to make the song go viral. We knew that featuring Zlatan as an artist alone could go a long way but we needed an extra push and that's exactly what we did.

The song is titled ALERT - Spider Rider ft Zlatan Ibile.

We performed the following,

International Distribution - Distributed the song to over 50+ streaming services such as Spotify, Itunes, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Audiomack, SoundCloud, Shazam, YouTube Music.
​
Local Distribution: We distributed to over 15 Nigeria Music blogs.
​
We also copyrighted the song and its video, which means whenever someone uses the songs or videos on their content in certain platforms such as YouTube, the platform then recognizes who sang the song and then pays the artist (Spider Rider).

Once those three (3) steps were in place, we began dishing out our marketing plan. First, we began with Social Media Marketing on the top social media platforms which generated over 2 Million Reach on both Facebook & Instagram over the space of 3 months.

We then proceeded to reach out to top Influencers (Celebrities) to help push the song to their audience. We made use of the following top Instagram influencers (Celebrity) with huge followings, they are: Charles Okocha (@charles_okocha) and Mr. Patrick (@mrpatricktv) [Pictures below]

Just after we engaged the Instagram influencers, we began the ALERT Contest on Facebook & Instagram (ALERT Challenge) of which one of the contestant's comedy video for the ALERT Challenge got picked up by Nigeria's famous comedian AY Comedian.
​
We didn't stop there, because we needed lots of people across Nigeria to know about the song, we proceeded to promote the song on Top Radio Stations (in 3 states: Lagos, Calabar & Port Harcourt) such as Wazobia FM, Naijainfo, Unilag FM, Rhythm FM, Beat FM (Portharcourt), Sparkling FM, FAD FM, Hit FM and few others. We also proceeded to promote the visual, that is, the music video on both Top Music TV Stations and YouTube
